The struts on my Tarago had “lost their gas”. I knew the new struts would be around $100 so had never bothered to replace them but continued to struggle with an heavy rear door – stupid me.

I was quoted over $500 for new struts to be re-fitted or I could have bought a pair for $125 but I would have to drive a fair way to the wreckers, take the struts off and fit them myself.

I found your website and phoned Grant who arrived within half an hour. Another half an hour (probably less) he left – my gas struts re-gassed, re-fitted, tested and working perfectly. And with a 12 month warranty.

HELP YOUR CAR STRUT IT’S STUFF
Strut Re-Gas first conceived the idea of re-gassing rather than replacing struts in 1992. It has developed into a successful franchise operation with over 30 franchisees throughout Australia.
In the ’90’s struts were really costly to replace. But with the expanding re-gas concept there are now many after market struts that are reasonably cheap. Strut Re-Gas operators can compete with those products and, moreover, their service includes removing and re-fitting as well as advice on fitment.
